What is a wedding film without the quintessential shaadi song, laced with daru? Vikas Bahl clearly knows the importance of such numbers and has given us exactly that in Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt’s Shaandaar.
Released on Tuesday, Raita Fail Gaya is a peppy song written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and features Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Pankaj Kapur and other stars having fun. Singer Divya Kumar has lent her voice for the song.
The launch of the song was quite unique: Director Vikas Bahl had conceived two versions. While the first version featured Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt doing their antics, the second version had the entire Shaandaar cast grooving. Both the versions were showcased to the audience present at the launch and they were asked to vote for their favourite version of the song. The audience made a unanimous decision and voted for the second version.
