“Creative industries are booming” as The Greenhouse has busiest quarter to date

Bosses at MediaCityUK say the creative and digital industries in the North West are “booming”.
It comes as The Greenhouse reports the busiest quarter in its history, with 9 new tenants moving in.
“In
the latest wave of new tenants we’ve attracted a refreshing mix of
start-ups, relocations, not just from within the region but beyond. The
demand for space for the first part of the year has been unprecedented
and remains brisk,” said Lynn Haime asset manager for MediaCityUK.
“It reflects that the market has turned a corner and that the digital and creative industries are booming.”
The
former Bovis block was converted into a range of suites when
construction workers moved off the MediaCityUK site. Situated next to
The Pie Factory, it was established to appeal to start-ups and small
creative companies.
The latest arrivals are Cooper Software, SJ Sport and Media Group,
Patron Network, CGO Media, Athena Media, Mobile Media Partnership and
marketing communications agency MC2. Westbrook Communications and Stable
are relocating their head offices to the site. Westbrook was previously
based in Plymouth and Stable in Bristol.
