Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal set to face media today in press conference

Despite rumours he had been sacked last night, Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is set to hold his weekly press conference as normal today.
Suggestions the Dutchman had left the club were rife on social media on Tuesday night, but it was later revealed to be a false alarm, started by former Man City star Trevor Sinclair's Twitter account.
Van Gaal's position as United manager is, however, under threat - and he could face the axe as soon as Boxing Day.
But for now the former Barcelona boss will hold his usual pre-match press conference at Carrington.
The 64-year-old is likely to face questions about his future, as well as rumours ex-Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is in line to replace him.
We'll bring you all the action from that press conference, which starts at 3.30pm, on the MirrorFootball live blog.
