Meet the Patna supercop who patrols the city wearing a mask

SSP Manu Maharaj
No car, no constables. This Patna SSP goes on a patrolling duty on a bike but wearing a mask.
Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Manu Maharaj went on bike wearing a mask to do a checking of the police officials activity. An IPS officer from 2005 batch, he is known as Singham of  Patna. He is not only famous because of his work but also because of his mustache.

Manu Maharaj is serving as SSP for the second time after Nitish Kumar came into power in Bihar. He has been the SSP of Patna before but was transferred to Darbhanga. In his previous term he has done patrolling in a rickshaw himself.

Last night, he went out on his bike to do patrolling of the city himself wearing a mask in his face along with his gunner at the back. Although he is a government official but he preferred taking his own bike instead of using the government car. SSP went on to check more than one area and himself stopped on the way to do checking of not only public vehicles but also some police official cars.
The IPS officer was himself not wearing a helmet while riding his bike but on asking him about this he replied saying that he wanted to see if the officers posted for patrolling check whether the bikers have a helmet or not and stop them.
He was continuously patrolling the different areas of the city the whole night just wearing the mask on his face. On the way he even saw some officers who were not on duty and scolded them for being so restless.
It clearly shows he does carry a full attitude of Singham.
