The film is said to be a commercial entertainer. Siruthai Siva had just had a release in Vedalam. Sivakarthikeyan, on the other hand is busy with a film by director Bakkiyaraj.

Sivakarthikeyan's Rajini Murugan that was supposed to hit screens on December 4 has been indefinitely postponed due to the flood situation in Tamil Nadu.
