The British singer says he's taking a break from technology, including his phone, emails and social media. In a post on, well, social media, he writes that the decision comes after he finds himself "seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes so i'm taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I missed."
To be fair, he has been pretty busy: earlier this week, Sheeran wrapped his X world tour, which he's been on since August 2014.
But don't worry, he tells his fans, because he's been working on his third album, which he promises to be the "best thing I have made thus far."
And an end date is already in sight: "See you all next autumn," he writes.
