A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a car at Moore Park this morning.
Just after 8.30am (Friday 16 October 2015), a motorcycle and a VW Golf wagon collided at the intersection of Lang Road and Driver Avenue.
The male motorcyclist died at the scene.
The female driver of the VW was not injured in the crash, but has been taken to St Vincent’s Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Police remain on scene, with officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit investigating all circumstances surrounding the matter as they prepare a report for the Coroner.
Traffic conditions are affected and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
